How BlueGEN works.
BlueGEN is a solid-oxide fuel cell micro-cogenerator: it does not burn the gas but, through an electrochemical reaction, converts the hydrogen — extracted from natural gas — into electricity and heat, with one of the highest efficiencies available today.
- —Compact: it fits in the plant room with a few connections — gas, water, electrical, flue and network.
- —It generates energy continuously, 24/7, with recovered heat for the building’s hot water.
